Almudena Alberca MW will talk with Daniel Carnio, General Manager of OENO, a company dedicated to purchasing wines for collectors and investors, and with Jochen de Vylder, owner of the auction house Ampersand Wine Auctions and a great connoisseur of historic Spanish vintages. The goal of this talk will be to promote this business opportunity, still fairly unknown in Spain. It promises to be an interesting debate with an exchange of views on the role of auction houses; how shops that invest in fine wines work; the role of collectors and winemakers in this business; and, what makes a wine a ‘fine wine’.
